In the past, your optometrist may have applied eye drops to dilate your pupils in order to assess the health of your retinae. This can make your vision blurred temporarily and more sensitive to light, for up to 5 hours. Our office now has the revolutionary Optos retinal camera which may allow us to view your retina without dilation drops.
